Teenage marriage has become a challenge in the modern age. It is because teenagers nowadays are liberated and are engaged in pre-marital sex. Teenagers are always making life changing decisions like early marriage without thinking what would be the outcome of their own doing. Teenage marriage is not easy. It is not like a clothes that you wear that you can easily change if you want to. We, teenagers must think first the consequences of early marriage before engaging to it.We don't have the the capacity to sustain the needs to built a solid foundation to have a good family. We still have many things to learn for we are still young and cant decide whether whats right or wrong. We cant provide the needs of our family because we are still dependent on our parents. We are not yet ready to face all the turmoils and challenges that comes into our way.
There are many reasons why early marriage occurs. The first thing thing that comes into our mind is the unwanted pregnancy. They are forced to get married to fulfill their duties and responsibilities to each other and to avoid issues,gossips and disgrace to their family and most especially to the society. in this kind of situation, they think that early marriage is the solution to their problems. Early pregnancy happens because teens nowadays are very much engage in pre marital sex. They lack of guidance from their parents and to the people around them. Maybe their parents are busy or working abroad and as a result of their rebellion. Another reason why teenagers decide to have early marriage because of the love that they felt for each other. They decided to tie the knot because they are afraid to lose each others. Because of we married in the wrong time,we cannot handle our responsibilities well so we may end up in breaking up or divorced.
Marriage is a lifetime commitment. It is the name of love, trust, faith and support. So we must think it many times before you decide to have an early marriage. Thus, it is better to avoid teenage marriage and wait until you attain the status of "adult" before starting a family.
